Costa

Costa Rica can be summed up in one word. Magical. I am absolutely falling in love with this country and the people. I am beyond thankful I decided to buy a ticket and worry about the rest later. The universe is taking me to some really awesome places (Like Bocas del Toro, Panama in 5 days) For the past month and a half I have been living and volunteering at a Eco-Resort and Spa, and part of what my job includes is going on fun adventures and making videos. Life sounds really rough I am sure. Don’t get me wrong, there are always going to be ups and downs, but when you get to love what you do, life is really really good.

Surf

So a few weeks ago I was asked to go on the surf trip we offer to Matapalo. As a passionate outdoor and sports enthusiast I obviously said yes without hesitation. Had I ever surfed before? Tried one time in California and no one would ever call what I did surfing. We will leave it at that. Had I learned how to use my GoPro. Nope. So I got to learn to surf and use a GoPro all at the same time. Haha.

Love

It was awesome. And I am really not sure what happened in California cause this time it came naturally and I caught wave after wave. Catching your first wave is hard to explain, but I think you’ll know instantly if it’s a sport for you. Something clicked, the stars aligned, whatever happened I fell in love. Here is the video of that love story.

Wilderwomen

Wilderwomen was born out of two women with the same dream; build a community of women who empower one another outdoors. Whether you’re seeking yoga, a get away, a tribe, an outdoor adventure, or just some time in nature, Wilderwomen has it all. We host meet-ups and outdoor retreats in the picturesque PNW paradise that include daily yoga, gourmet meals, outdoor adventures, hot spring soaks, glamping and more! We are building a community of women (and men, and partners, and those who don’t opt to define themselves by a gender) who feel confident in their skin and in their technical outdoor abilities, a tribe of humans who deeply care about the environment and each other, and a collection of outdoor enthusiasts and weekend warriors who are excited to get after it in the outdoors.
